How to dress to church, who is accepted in church and how to behave in church has always been a matter of controversy in the christian community. Many have spoken about it, may chose to ignore it, others just say its complicated and if you are reading this right now, you probably belong to one of these categories. It's almost like a tradition now, almost every church and Christian organization in the world today go on fasting and prayer at the beginning of every year! But then again, results becomes limited when you work without understanding! So in this post I bring you a simple explanation on why you should fast and pray and not just do because everyone is doing it! Where did it come from. Fasting is known as a voluntary going without food in order to focus on prayer and fellowshiping with God. You see fasting and prayer goes hand in hand! Though we are not specifically commanded in the Bible to spend time in fasting and prayers but going through the bible carefully, we get to understand that it's certainly what every believer after an encounter and lifting should engage in.
