LIFE HAPPENS!

In Isaiah 43:18 through the nineteenth verse, God spoke through his servant saying;   Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old, Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
I would like us to take a brief look at how relevant this prophetic declaration is in our world of today.
I believe its a well known fact that anyone who constantly keep his/her eyes on the rear mirror why driving will certainly loose sight of what is ahead and if not careful enough will run out of the road.
One this particular verse, God promised to do anything, but if you would take a look at the verse very well you would find simple steps that leads to having new things been done for you.

Step one: Remember ye not the former things(take your eyes off the past); Many wonder why their lives in some way is stagnant, they can't seem to get past their current position, well, you can't keep moving forward why your eyes are on the rear mirror, you would have to park to keep your eyes there if you don't want to crash. Until one is able to get past all the hurts, the disappointments and even the glories of the pasts, results will be limited, frustration will be everywhere.
You once had it very good, you have been disappointed in the past over time, doors have been short on your face so often that you have lost hope and zeal on achieving that special dream, these are all the facts, but the truth is if you chose to remain on that spot of regretting all the mistakes of the past and all the ugly experiences then you would only be doing yourself more harm than any good!

Step Two: Neither consider the things of old (Don't allow them affect your attitude towards vision); You know, its sad some times when you hear people say like, "I too once had big dreams", at times i just want to hit them on the head and scream "what in heaven's name stopped you from achieving them!" and unsurprisingly, most times the answer is always the same, "Well, life happened". I am like what? Life happened, news flash dear, life will keep happening! all you have to do is fight your way through and determine how its going to happen to you!
Remember Joseph? Life happened to him too, this time using his own siblings. What about Thomas Edison, one time his lab along side every invention he was working got burnt down, life didn't just happen to him, life gave him a knock down a couple of times! But today, you know how the story ends!

I can't even count how many times life has happened to me,  I have had to start projects on my own after trying it with people who gave up along the way, growing up without knowing my father till I was age 11, at times waking up and wondering what next... Life happens to every body sometime, but you know what, they that know their God, they shall be strong and do exploits!
You have got to stop considering the things of old and begin to take advantage of the new things!

Step Three:  Behold, I will do a new thing! A mentor once said "If you have a cloth that is getting too old and its refusing to torn, he said to do it yourself, because that shirt is stopping new ones from coming in?"
Until you begin to chose to remember not the former things and consider the things of the old, you will keep losing sight of the present opportunities!

The children of Israel while they were out of Egypt the land of slavery at a time began to murmur and wished they were left in Egypt to die, well many of them got their wish, they died in the wilderness because they couldn't take their eyes off their past, same thing happened to Lot's wife, she turned into a Pillar Of Salt looking back to catch a glimpse of all she left behind!

Many are still literally turning to all kids of pillars today, pillars are stagnant, they can't seem to take their eyes off the past glories so they are loose sight of the present opportunities thereby remaining stagnant.
If you have been one of them, this is your chance to begin to work on yourself and decide to not allow life dictate to you how you are are going to live, Remember, until you
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old,     Behold, the new things may never come to you! Get up and start enjoying the life Christ gave is His own life for! #Binspired!
