ECONOMIC CRISES, NOT AN EXCUSE!

Women have to prove themselves at every point in their life to earn the same respect that men get rather easily. Disparity  is highly prevalent, the low salaries, the need to sacrifice a career for the family, someone dictating what and how she should wear clothes, how she should behave and what she should do with her life only because it is believed that a woman is not good enough when compared to a man! -According to the editorial team of The Health Site,

However, it’s high time that we pledge for parity and break free from these notions. This is not a post about the superiority of men over woman neither is it about how women can possibly do everything a man can do (though, personally i believe they can), this post is about celebrating creativity, ingenuity, zealousness, will-power and belief in possibilities and greatness!

It's no longer news, in my beloved country, the failure of the flow of oil, (to put it in a lay man's language) has plunged the country into great economic crises, though some would argue that the crises have been a long time coming!

The good thing in the midst of this so called recession is the fact that at last the country has finally realized she didn't have to solely depend on oil all these years after-all, we are now seriously looking into other areas like Agriculture, Development of the IT sector, empowering entrepreneurs and many other areas!
One can't help but wonder why with the so much land mass, the raw materials, very educated minds and talents in the country, these areas have suffered such neglects all these years, well that is a topic for some other time.

I have been telling many recently, hate the president all you want but the real truth is that since his administration, with the turn out of events many have really started to look inward, many have started developing themselves, trying to make a head way for themselves! One can say that the spirit of Entrepreneurship has started taking over the people, especially the youths!

Love Dickson, MD/CEO LD Makeover
For example, meet Ms Love Dickson, ever beautiful, bright and always smiling young lady who is also the MD/CEO of LD Makeover. Ms Love Dickson finished from the renowned Benson Idahosa University(B.I.U) in Benin City, Edo State.
Love Dickson immediately launched into her own Business in 2014 after her graduation, unlike many others she didn't waste anytime taking her CV from one office to the other, even before her graduation she had a plan!

She saw an opening and dare took a step, today, she runs a successful Make-up and Beauty Accessories Company, haven studied Economics in the University.

We have been friends for while now and we have talked about a lot of things, She is not only an amazing friend but a determined woman who only strive towards perfection, she knows what she wants and exactly how she wants it!

She is driven by her passion and crave for success as a woman and being one of the most successful young female Entrepreneurs home and abroad.

Ideal Success motivates me and I believe getting to the peak of success should be everyone's zeal. I wake up every morning motivated to take a better or new step closer to my peak.
-Love Dickson

I once asked her about her view on the economic crises of the nation and she told me she doesn't see any problem but opportunities, not just opportunities for the men alone but also opportunities for the strong and willed women with talents, skill and vision to have a go at it!
Believe it or not, economic crises or not, there are people who are still making waves in their businesses, you have got to enlist yourselves among such people!

Love Dickson's job as a Makeup artist hasn't only taken her around the country and even beyond, financially, it pays off as she earns at least Six Figures per job. In five years, I hope to be a really successful entrepreneur inspiring other young and upcoming entrepreneurs, especially young ladies, with a business that has expanded, both home and abroad, she told me.

Talk about beauty, talk about brains, talk about meticulousness, talk about being good at what you do, then you have just described Love Dickson, but that is not really why we decided to make her part of this post today, the reason being, here is a young lady who against all odds in the country is constantly looking for ways to improve herself and expand her business, she has a spirit that we pray many in the country will come to realize too and that way we will no longer depend so much on imported goods anymore thereby growing the Naira which will inevitably improve the economic state of the country. My best wishes are with her, God bless Nigeria, God bless our ideas and God bless you for stopping by, #Binspired!
