Join This Chariot (Our Mandate)
Divine mandates are always accompanied with divine grace!
Read how the English Dictionary defines the word *Mandate*
An official or authoritative command; an order or injunction; a commission; a judicial precept.
Simply put; To Authorize!
Divine mandates are divine/supreme instructions from God to an individual!
What is God's mandate to every believer!
Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
It goes on to say in verse 18; To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Somebody will say, well this was Jesus giving Paul his mandate, true but the same still goes to us! Jesus is still giving everyone this same mandate!
You only arise when you believe there is a need, you only find solution when you feel or know there is a problem!
Well, look around you and the world of today and you tell me if the world is a not in need of an urgent solution!
You can't deny it, at every dawning of a new day, the world is going far from God!
There are now constitutions been made contrary to what God says and instructs us to do! The mindset of "it doesn't matter" has gradually taken over the heart of men, even the churches!
Jesus gave Apostle Paul a clear mandate, for the deliverance, forgiveness, and inheritance!
The world is still in need of deliverance, very much in need of forgiveness and so much in need of their possessions/inheritance in Christ Jesus!
But the problem is: How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Because;... faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:14,17
Still want to sit around doing nothing, not impacting your generation?
I hear someone saying... Oh, Preaching is not for me but for Pastors, after all I am not a pastor, I am just a worker in church, a member... Well you are wrong! Jesus never gave the ministry of evangelism to any pastor, apostle or Bishop... Its a mandate to every believer!
Mark 16:15 And He(Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
It's time to rise up and play our part! If you look hard enough you will see someone in need of some good news(gospel), don't hold it back, you have received it you help others receive it too!
Too many are being cheated of their inheritance in Christ, strangers are occupying their thrones and positions, it's time for a change of power and you have everything you need to make it possible!
How will it happen? Grace!
Ephesians 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
It's already at work in you, take advantage! There are majorly two ways to bring about new converts;
I. Physical stewardship; Reach out, visitations, Street evangelism...
II. Spiritual Stewardship; Praying for new converts and salvation of souls, praying for the ministers of God!
Join this chariot! Your family needs you, your community, your generation, your world, they all need you!
Are you too shy? Well, start praying for the spirit of boldness, then start from the people in your room, house, use your social media platforms and gradually pick up the pace from there!
I'll leave with this last veres;
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Eph 3:20
There is a power at work in you, recognize it and utilize it! God bless you even as you make up your mind to carry out God's word even in this season!
