A PASSENGER IN THIS WORLD, REALLY?
Sitting in a bus, traveling for an a appointment, I began to reflect on some statements I have head some people make over and over again, one of these statement being "I am just a passenger in this world", meaning they are just passing by or something like that.
You see, when you are wrongly informed, your thinking and your talking will be wrong! it is so important for us to get the right information that will lead to right thinking and talking. Being a passenger in this world simply means you having no effect and impact on this world, this is what happens when you are traveling, you really don't most times if not all the time have no effect on the means of transportation at all. You are just concerned with getting to your destination.
I sincerely hope you catch what i am trying to say, see, Christ didn't give up His life on earth just to make us passer by in this world, He didn't go through all those suffering so we can move from here to the next life without having no effect on this world, NO! His death holds more value that!
In Genesis Chapter one, we understand the reason for God creating us; for dominion, be a ruler, to take charge and to be the head over all other creatures, unfortunately this was lost. But glory to God, through the death of Jesus Christ, we were restored! That is why He was bold to say, ...I have come that they might have life more abundantly. JN10:10(emphasis mine)
Christ died for you so you could live to your fulness, be the best in that calling, dominate and be impactful. you are more than a passenger of life, 1Peter 2:9, you are royalty, don't allow anyone tell you how far you can reach, what ever you set your mind upon, you can achieve!
What am i saying? Pic up yourself and stop watching life pass you by, do something, stop majoring on the none essentials and take advantage of the life Christ has given unto you.
Ye are of God little children, and have overcome the world. Greater is He in you than he that is in the world. 1JN 4:4
