LETTER TO MY MUM!

WHEN YOU TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED, THE THINGS YOU ARE GRANTED GET TAKEN!
  
 How many of us really have sat down with our mums and just told them how much we appreciate them? Not telling them we love them because saying it most times doesn't really mean we meant it. I am talking about you sitting with your mum and you just begin to let her know how much you are glad she brought you into this world.

Now I understand many of us may have issues with our mums, maybe she rejected you, maybe she wasn't there for you when you needed her, maybe she refused to support you for some reason or she even has a favorite that isn't you.
 I understand these factors can be responsible for the complicated relationship some may have with their mums. But I would like you to understand that in the face of these seemingly difficult situations a mother's love for her child is unquantified!
  
 A Mother Thinks about Her Children Day and Night, Even if they are not with Her.  

You better belief it because its true! So in this post, I would love to encourage you, to inspire you to once upon a time, sit with your mum and let her know you appreciate her for all she has done for you! Let her know that her sacrifices for you (which are numerous and you will know when you become a parent) are recognized!

Maybe you have not been good terms with you your mum for a while now, maybe its high time you started letting go of the hurt and bitterness, you see unforgiveness imprisons you!
Until you forgive you can't really move on with your life. So forgive for your sake and that of your children! If you can't bring yourself to face her yet, you can start by writing her a letter, once in a while send you mum a text that says something like "mum thank you for this opportunity you gave me at life".

The bible actually encourages us to be at peace with our parents that our days may be long on earth. So I encourage you, in this week, this month, let your mum know you are grateful! Most times we don't recognize the value of a thing until we loose it, you will not loose yours! Best regards!

Diary Of A City Girl In The Village Episode IV

8pm Ha! Can't believe the trouble I had to go through just to cook myself something to eat, setting up a place to cook wasn't easy, the house where I got an accommodation is made up of six rooms with a long hall separating them, making it three rooms on each sides with no kitchen, it was like I was back to school again, only that this time it was very different. Back then at school, the houses were pretty, more comfy and it smelled better, plus I didn't really live in one of those houses I just visited some friends there. After much debate, I finally decided to set up my kitchen just outside my door, this meant I had to keep an eye on it not because I didn't want the food getting burnt but because I don't have much trust for anyone here yet, it's better safe than sorry! March 4th 2016 Dear diary, this is my second day here now and so far, it's been crazy! Came back late yesterday as I feared, turns out the bank was way off this Village! I was able to get some stuffs, even though they were not really up to my taste, I guess I will make do with what I have! I finally put a call through to my family, I called Lekan first, I could barely hear him, but he sounded angry, something about why I didn't tell him about my trip, I guess he called home and they told him about it...
